joyce and constance came over to visit today!

and i took the esteemed post of "Tour Guide" today to two distinguished guests and showed them around our area, the zone of Halls 1-6 (except 3 haha), and we also had some fun at ADM. :D

bleah it was Hari Raya Haji but at least that prevented us all from killing ourselves on Western food heh.

so i can't remember what i wanted to blog about because so many things have happened since the last post and i can't remember what they were haha.

but well tomorrow's a new day.

oh wait now i remember! i met up with the old ij gang recently, and we sorta celebrated yi ling's birthday, and gave me my birthday present haha oh no jo i still owe you money! hahaha. it was brilliant! i loved the beautiful collage (and yes joyce your words were lovely as always ((((: ) but i'm sad because i dont' know where to display it :( haha. i think i'll probably end up propping it up against the board of my table.

yi ling, cerise and i went to watch The Golden Compass on that day too. and we all felt it was really good! no hint of anti-Catholicism la, except for the mention of the word "Magisterium", but most kids wouldn't know the meaning of that word in real-world context anyway.. so i guess i dont' really see how it could be all that detrimental to developmental thinking with respect to religion, but oh well. I was upset that they didn't showcase the Battle though. bleah. hate that it ended abruptly...i mean so what if it's the first part of a trilogy? bah. haha.

so anyway after that we stalled yiling and ended up finding a flea market at The Cathay! and! we bought clothes! hahahaa i'm very pleased with my new white top. yi ling and cerise each got dresses for $20+ only! :D

and speaking of shopping, i randomly met my sister to hit Topshop in order to spend our 20% off vouchers, but we didn't manage to in the end, sads. haha. nonetheless, i DID buy myself my very first day dress :D which isn't really classified in the league of day dresses in that it's not flowery or light but i'd still say it's a casual one that i could wear anytime and i'm happy about that. (:
