and interestingly, although my hotmail inbox had twelve messages (oh wow, friendster), my handphone couldn't stop vibrating for five continuous minutes (from the twelve smses i received over the weekend and yesterday), and my gmail had more than 20 non-spam emails (spam itself had 28 emails if i'm not wrong -.-) that i will take a couple of hours reading through and getting myself up to speed with everything...

i didn't care.

yes, i attended to the necessary, giving people the necessary notices and responses.

yet i think i haven't felt so happy for quite a while.

and i'm immensely glad that jeremy called me along with the other wonderful 8 people who came with us on this trip.

who knew that people of such varied ages could come together, clique so well and share in such a complimentary manner; with each contributing one aspect of themselves that lended to a complete and very beautiful whole.

(surprisingly, even I managed to contribute myself, when i never thought i ever would or could be able to.)

(or at least i HOPE i did! haha but i guess quite often i felt like a liability to the others haha)

and even though i wasn't able to get a shower that involved water coming from a shower head, and i never bathed with any water hotter than tap temperature, and even though i was the only one out of the ten of us to receive more than five mosquito bites (i probably have about 30 now), and even though i got my topshop baggy jeans dirty (and possibly unwashable because i know that's how mud is), and even though i had diarrhoea yesterday morning,

this trip represents the three best-spent days of the year 2008.

and without the help, support and nudging of a wonderful friend i hold close to my heart (although i never say it because i know he won't appreciate it hahaha kidding), I wouldn't have been there.

and i still believe that it is God's will that i was there.

so Thank you, Lord, for sending me with the other nine wonderful friends of mine, on these three days where amazingly, you have shown me how you really do use us in the most interesting and beautiful ways to do Your work.

and now i can spend these two days being excited to see them all again on thursday. :D
